When completed, replica #1 was driven to Washington D.C. and shown to those at the Vietnam Veteran Memorial Fund, The American Legion Washington Offices and others. Since then it has been displayed at the Vietnam Veterans of America National Convention in Houston and the American Legion National Convention in Indianapolis. It has met with nothing but praise. The first replica was acquired by the Pioneer VFW Post # 8628. Replica #2 is located in the National Heritage Military Museum in St. Joseph, Missouri and Replica #3 is located in the USS Kidd Museum in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. |
